What is health coaching?

Health coaching is a series of conversations between the coach and the client intended for the client to discover his/her best self. Together the coach and client create and design a roadmap to a personal health and wellness vision. Throughout the coaching process the coach and client work together as partners to accomplish real and sustained lifestyle changes such as weight loss, smoking cessation and increased activity levels.

At On Track with Health and Wellness we start where the clients are at with their health and wellness goals. We understand that each client is unique and special – so we take time to help our clients develop individualized health and wellness visions for themselves.

As health coaches we:

  • Actively listen to our clients
  • Assist with goals setting
  • Provide a non-judgmental environment
  • Create an effective plan to meet your needs
  • Brainstorm and create solutions that work best for you
  • Provide health information
  • Provide advice when asked
  • Provide resources
  • Encourage our clients to look inside themselves and challenge them to better health
  • Assist clients to uncover solutions
  • Expect weekly or bi-weekly accountability
